Kitchen style leader, Custom Fronts, has introduced a beautiful Brown European oak finish to its stable of cabinetry fronts, doors, shelves and drawers.

Finished with natural oil to bring out the rich tones and distinctive textures of the wood's grain, this new surface brings nature’s soothing characteristics into the kitchen in an elegant way.

A good kitchen can last a lifetime. This makes it important to choose your design well from the outset. If you want your kitchen to stay looking stylish, the key is to not fall for fast-moving trends. Selecting natural materials and classic styles for your cabinetry is a clever way to ensure enduring aesthetic appeal.

Taking their influence from nature-inspired elements from Japan and Scandinavia, combined with British contemporary design, the cabinetry fronts are offered in a series of pared-back styles made to fit IKEA Metod carcasses.

The new Brown European oak cabinetry fronts join Nordic birch ply, European oak, Black European oak, Smoked European oak and European walnut in the selection of beautiful timber surfaces available from Custom Fronts. Each is offered with hand-routed or simple linear metal handles.

‘Warm woods such as brown oak are deservedly popular as they offer a richness to a space, while also providing a neutral backdrop which can be set off by our colour finishes,’ says Rachel Thurlby, co-founder, Custom Fronts. ‘Native woods are very sustainable and preferable to exotic hardwoods, which we would never use.’
