Jerusalem Design Week 2022
During a warm summer’s evening on Thursday 23rd June 2022, the eleventh edition of Jerusalem Design Week welcomed more than 5,500 eager visitors to its opening night gala at the Hansen House Center for Design, Media and Technology. Israel’s foremost design event, JDW showcased an eclectic mix of exhibitions, installations, and projects, from over 150 Israeli and international designers. Created specially for this year's theme ‘For Now’, work by invited designers explored both the ephemerality of design and the design of ephemerality. JDW examined ways in which time can be harnessed to bring about a positive effect in periods of uncertainty. In the course of an energising week, with a packed programme of design, JDW greeted 40,000 visitors.
