Top Drawer SS20 - Our Highlights
This month we kicked the year off with a visit to Top Drawer. Showcasing new launches from over 1,500 brands there’s always something that catches our eye, below are some of our highlights:
SleepWell by LittleSolves
Littlesolves, led by award-winning designer Anthony Dickens, aims to solve everyday small niggles to make our daily lives go that little bit smoother. SleepWell is one of those fixes that caught our eye, a bedside glass ‘that's nicer to touch, harder to accidentally knock over and quiet to put down’, aiming to restore bedside harmony.
Batch.Works
Batch.Works also caught our attention. Using recycled plastic they 3D print everyday products. By streamlining the design, manufacturing and distribution process in an efficient & eco-friendly way under one roof they’re disrupting the production & manufacturing industry, only producing exactly the products ordered.
Studio Altar
Multidisciplinary design studio, Studio Altar, are driven by a passion for traditional crafts. Showcasing new collections of pottery and textiles produced in collaboration with Peruvian artisans the quality and craftsmanship of the pieces was just beautiful.
Melin Tregwynt
From their Pembrokeshire based wooden mill, Melin Tregwynt have been weaving bold and contemporary blankets, bedspreads and upholstery fabrics since 1912. Their stunning throws caught our eye, showcasing the beautiful quality and craftsmanship behind each one.
Stelton
Scandinavian design powerhouse Stelton, are always on our list to see. This year their new launches were no disappointment, in particular the design classic EM77 vacuum jug in three new colours - perfect for an alfresco summer lunch or brightening up a dreary winter’s day.
