Reiko Kaneko: Berry Bowl Colander

Standard-ware is a back to basics range from Reiko Kaneko that emphasises the quality of The Potteries’ famous fine bone china. Using simple contemporary shapes, the finely cast bone china is shown at its best. Bright white in colour, with a tactile matt finish on the exterior surface.

The Standard-ware range offers the ultimate feather soft texture on the exterior. Designed for everyday use, their unique tactility makes using them an everyday pleasure.

The range currently includes 4 sizes of bowls, a Standard-ware gloss Mug and a Standard-ware Egg Cup. The egg cup is perhaps the truest distillation of this idea – paring back all unnecessary detail leaving just enough to comfortably hold your boiled egg.

Newly added to the range is the Standard-ware Berry Bowl Colander. The pierced patterned holes make this bowl perfect for straining or serving berries or fresh vegetables, meaning you can rinse and serve in the same dish. Creating an interesting new way to serve and snack this summer.
